The officers of the HSA and their duties are as follows:
1. President
a. Preside at and administer all regular, executive and special meetings.
b. Call special meetings of Executive Committees.
c. Serve as ex-officio member on all committees of the Association.
d. Introduce speakers, items to be considered, etc., at each general meeting.
e. Work closely and directly with the Pastor, Principal, staff, and volunteers to keep lines of communication open.
f. Make recommendations and address issues of importance or urgency.
2. Vice President
a. Assume the duties of the President if he/she is not available for a given meeting or event where the President is required to be present.
b. Perform duties as assigned by the President.
c. Maintain the private school wide email distribution list.
d. Handle all HSA email communication and notices.
e. Assume the role of "morale" officer, sending sympathy, get well, and congratulatory cards/gifts as necessary.
3. Secretary
a. Record minutes of all executive and general meetings and make copies available to the entire membership in a reasonable time following the meeting.
b. Work with the Vice President to coordinate HSA email correspondence.
c. Maintain an electronic folder and binder copy of all event communications (notices, flyers, etc.)
d. Responsible for recording and correcting any amended bylaws of the HSA.
e. Serves as an ex-officio member of the Communications Committee and as a liaison between the school and the Communications Committee.
4. Treasurer
a. Complete a Fundraising and Social report for each event.
b. Provide a copy of all fundraising reports to the Pastor and Principal after each event.
c. Keep an ongoing report of the HSA fundraising efforts.
d. Make a semi-annual and a final report on fundraising to the general membership.
e. Sell tickets and collect all money for the 50/50 raffle.
f. Maintain the petty cash fund.
g. Serve as an ex-officio member of the Fundraising Committee and as a liaison between the school and the Fundraising Committee.
5. Faculty Representative
a. Serve as liaison between the faculty and the HSA.
b. Report Association business at faculty meetings
