To the Saint Rose Community:
We hope you are enjoying your summer vacation and the beautiful sunshine. The first day of school is fast approaching and we wanted to make a few announcements as we begin the school year.
The first day of school will be Tuesday, August 30. Please join us as the students line up for prayers and the beginning of a new and exciting year! We will be hosting the opening HSA meeting on August 24, 2011, at 7pm. We hope to see you there. We will be discussing plans for the year ahead, including some changes to fundraising and social events.
We would like to thank everyone for their hard work last year and look forward to working with you again next year. A special thank you to Lisa Williams and the Golf Committee who helped us finish out the year by raising over $11,000! We had a very successful year and hope to increase participation in the coming year.
We would also like to give a special thanks to Cheryl Picard, our outgoing Hospitality Chair and to Deb Drechnowicz our outgoing Scrip Chair. Cheryl helped us coordinate with our classroom liaisons and her hard work and dedication is immensely appreciated. Deb kept Scrip organized and advertised this amazing fundraising opportunity within the community. With her organizational skills we ensured Scrip sales at the parish were consistent and because of her hard work we were able to raise more in scrip this year than anticipated.
Please join us in welcoming two new members to our team. Jessica Johnson will be the new Hospitality Chair and will be coordinating the Hospitality Committee and Classroom Liaisons. Denise Grant will be taking on the role of Scrip Chair and coordinating the scrip sales.
If you are interested in chairing an event we are still in need of a chairperson for the following events: Lunch with Santa, Father/Daughter Dance, and the Mother/Son Event. Please let us know if you would be willing to chair one of these events by emailing us at
