St. Rose of Lima School

The Green Club meets the first and third Wednesday of each month. The dates are as follows: November 4th and 18th, December 2nd and 16th, January 6th and 20th, February 3rd, March 3rd and 17th,  April 7th, May 5th and 19th, and June 2nd. The first meeting was successful. All classrooms have been reminded to recycle all clean, dry paper. At the end of each day a student from each class will empty the classroom paper bin into a large bin for Mr. Mike to empty into the outside paper recycling receptacle. Club members are investigating ways for St. Rose to have pick up of other recyclables (cans and bottles). Lessons will be planned and presented by club members regarding packing a "green" lunch ( all reusable containers). The Green Club welcomes new members. Simply download the permission slip, fill it out and return it to school.
