A big thank you to all that came out to help and support our art fair despite the miserable weather! The children worked so hard on their art pieces and it is so wonderful to see their faces when they find their artwork among all of the artwork framed gallery style. Their proud smiling faces are what it is all about! The winners of the Door Prizes are as follows:
First Prize: Matthew J, Grade 4 Second Prize: John F, Grade 1 Third Prize: Michael T, Grade 1

•Art classes provide students a chance to develop cognitive and creative skills, and to develop their imaginations.
•The skills and experience that students develop by learning to perform, create, and respond to works of art provides a foundation for the kinds of literacy students must have to communicate and work successfully in our ever-changing media, technology, and information age.
